Quarry Screenings
Our crushed quarry screenings and dust is a good blinding material when used to level and smooth over larger aggregates like 1″ and 2″ stone. It provides a level surface on roadways, lanes and farm roads.
Clause 804
Clause 804 is a standardised grade of aggregate up to 75mm with a mix of fines down to dust. Mostly used for base layers it compacts well to provide a firm substrate.
1 Inch / 25mm Stone
25mm (1″) Crushed Stone will provide a solid well drained layer of aggregate when laid over rougher material for roadways or paths etc.
It can also be used when specified for drainage stone allowing good percolation for water.
2 Inch / 50mm Stone
50mm (2″) Crushed Stone provides a solid well drained substrate layer for roadways or paths etc where it can be blinded by finer material.
It can be used as drainage stone allowing good percolation for water where specified.
4 Inch 100mm Stone
Crushed 4″ / 100mm stone is generally used as a rough filling substrate base layer where it is overlaid with finer material. Four inch crushed stone makes a good base for farm roads, driveways and concrete slabs.
Clause 616
Clause 616 is made up of of big stones down to a fine gravel as it comes directly from the quarry with the minimum of grading. Its commonly used as a base material under driveways, roads, yards and concrete slabs.
Quarry Boulders
Quarry Boulders are our largest quarry product. Commonly used in sea defences and as heavy back fill they also have uses as decorative stone in landscaping and random stone walls.
